क्या आप भी इन चीज़ों को गलत समझते हैं?

1. 🐸 Frog vs Toad

Important: “Toad” कोई पूरी तरह अलग animal group नहीं है; यह frogs के भीतर कुछ groups के लिए common name है।

Hindi confusion: दोनों को सामान्यतः मेंढक ही कहा जाता है।


2. 🍋 Lemon vs Lime

उदाहरण: lemon juicelime juice

India में सबसे ज्यादा confusion यहीं है:
हमारे यहाँ “नींबू” शब्द कई अलग citrus fruits के लिए इस्तेमाल हो सकता है। इसलिए Indian “नींबू” को हमेशा English lemon समझना सही नहीं है।

और कागज़ी नींबू को English में अक्सर lime कहा जाता है।


3. 🐀 Rat vs Mouse

सबसे interesting बात:

Rat और Mouse दोनों Rodents हैं, लेकिन “चूहा” Hindi में दोनों के लिए इस्तेमाल हो सकता है।

इसलिए:

हर rat चूहा है, लेकिन “चूहा” बोलने से यह तय नहीं होता कि वह rat है या mouse।


4. 🐊 Crocodile vs Alligator

सबसे आसान पहचान:
